Powerful and Quiet Portable AC

This Black+Decker portable air conditioner has saved me from dying of the heat. When I started living alone in a small house near my college, I bought this budget-friendly air conditioner, and it was the best decision. Its powerful 7,700 BTU engine cools my entire house perfectly. It has four temperature settings that I can easily adjust. I can even adjust them with the remote control from anywhere. However, I think the hose is too short. You have to place it exactly near the window.
